Mr. Dawodu has been working on auditing, accounting and financial matters in both public and private organization for over 40 years both in Great Britain and Nigeria.
He is a member of the following bodies:

- Fellow Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria 1990.
- Authorized Clerkship License of the Nigeria Stock Exchange 1996.
- Member of the Lagos State Public Accounts Committee 1990-1995.
